Though the main focus is on green cleaning, there are many ideas in this book which can help in green living and in minimizing our resource consumption. <br /> <br />Going through this book helped me rethink several aspects of cleanliness that we often overlook - dust mites etc in your pillows/bedding and window curtains/drapes; the usefulness of sunlight as a cleaning agent; the deception behind the new car smell and so on. It gets these ideas across in a thoughtful manner, in going beyond the green washing that companies often use nowadays and understand the real impact of a consumer choice - Is a local non-organic apple better than an organic apple from far away Chile? <br /> <br />More practically it offers several solutions for maintaining a healthy living condition.
